Johnny Cat's Heavenly Message Lets Pet Parents Move On

Updated: Jul 31, 2023

Johnny Cat left his body in the winter of 2021. After struggling with cancer for several years, it got to the point he couldn’t hold his food down. He was hungry but he couldn’t eat.

Cheryl and her husband tried to help him feel better, but eventually they couldn’t and decided it was his time to leave his body. Cheryl wanted to communicate with Johnny Cat to learn how he felt about being euthanized and what he felt about them having to do this.

Johnny Cat and I met a couple of days before I spoke with Cheryl. I wanted to get some comments from him that Cheryl could verify we made contact. She told me the responses I received abut his favorite toy, his food and where he slept were right on. I asked her to send me 10 questions she wanted to ask Johnny Cat. We had previously made an appointment for a phone conversation.

Because I know all of you have lost a pet and wondered similar questions, I am highlighting a couple of questions and Johnny Cat’s answers here.

“We had to have you euthanized during Covid. What was it like for you laying in my lap in the car and drifting off to sleep?” “I was nervous at first, even though you told me ahead of time. I didn’t know what to expect. It was real peaceful. There was no pain anymore.”

“Are you aware we felt badly we couldn’t help you feel better, as hard as we tried?” “Yes. I don’t blame you for anything. I understand.”

“How did you feel when I came into the den in the middle of the night to sit with you on the couch?” “I told Cheryl I felt love in my heart when Johnny Cat said,” “I knew you loved me. I liked you sitting with me. It felt comforting.”

There were many more questions, but I want to get to the highlight of the reading: As we were saying goodbye, there was so much love exchanged between the three of us, I could hardly move. And we said goodbye to Johnny Cat with the light of love surrounding us.

Thank you Barbara for yesterday's session with Johnny Cat! I was profoundly moved by the love we both felt from him. I feel what I most got out of our session was a sense of forgiveness, if you will, and the lovingness to be able to move on, letting go of feelings of angst. Relating what we talked about to Karl, I could see he felt that peace of mind as well. Thank you my friend!
