PURE LOVE OUTWEIGHS MANIC EATING

ree

Sam’s pet mom contacted me for a second time from their home in Sweden. I had worked with them before to bring clarity and closure for their departed pet, Kevin. This email was to help with their cat, Sam, who was eating constantly. In fact, after our final tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) session, Sam’s pet dad told me Sam had been manic about food.

Sam is roughly 8 years old and was found outside a food store with a broken tail. He started over eating 8 months after he came to their house. When Sam and I first met, he told me how deeply he loves his pet parents; they are my family. He said he likes to go upstairs to sleep. Sam told me he lays around a lot and since there are other cats in the house, he learns how to be a cat from them.

He told me the pet parents like to eat; that he is a ‘people’ and likes to eat. It makes me like them. Upon question, he said he would follow them if they did a diet; it would feel right to him. I love them and will do what they do.

Sam and I did a little tapping before I spoke to his pet parents and he liked the affirmation, “Sam eats on a diet like his pet dad and mom.”

When I told his pet parents about Sam following their eating habits, the pet mom told me she doesn’t like food and the pet dad announced he eats like a horse; that he eats big portions. Pet dad told me he is willing to change his eating habit because of his love for Sam, and we spoke about taking Sam for walks.

This gave me more information to meet with Sam again for a second tapping session. During that session, Sam let me know he was over eating because he thought that was how to be accepted in the family. As I write Sam’s story, it would appear Sam does feel part of the family because he is following the family (pet dad’s) eating habit.

In our second session, Sam’s affirmation became, “Sam is part of the family, eating like his step dad and mom.”

The pet parents and I spoke two days after the session and I was told, “There is a big difference; he’s not begging for more food at all. Both Sam and pet dad are eating less.”

They will continue with Sam’s affirmation and telling him how much he is loved. Pet dad is going to start walking Sam once the weather changes and they promised to get with me in a couple of months detailing Sam’s progress.
